Today, as well as providing a home for over 100 independent businesses, Spinners Mill is owned and managed by Leigh Building Preservation Trust. As a result, it continues to provide affordable space for businesses and community organisations while preserving an important part of Leigh’s heritage.

What began as an ambitious effort to preserve one of Leigh’s most important historic buildings has become a thriving destination at the heart of the community.

Today, thanks to the dedication of volunteers, tenants, supporters and Leigh Building Preservation Trust, the mill continues to evolve while protecting its remarkable heritage. At the same time, it provides affordable space for businesses, community organisations and visitor attractions that bring new life to this historic building.
